Haywire Winery from Summerland ,BC has released Free Form 2013, a blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc that is unfiltered and natural, without enzymes and manufactured yeast. Cloudy and pale yellow in the glass don’t let this fool you, this is a seriously good white. Creamy and a soft, with a wonderful chewy texture, this wine offers ripe apple, pear and a dollop of minerality.On the palate, zippy lemon flavors and a slight tinge of bitterness that balanced this wine perfectly .If you enjoy an out of the box wine that delivers a surprising avant garde take on the ordinary Chardonnay grape, then this is the one for you. 91 points.

A mix of Syrah and Gamay, this medium bodied wine has blackcurrant ,raspberry and dried herbal notes.Smooth with low tannins and a bright palate, lean but fruity. A Sunday afternoon red to accompany a book or a classic movie on Netflix. 87 points.
