Hester Creek Pinot Gris is grown on both the east and west South Okanagan benches. The Estate Vineyard on the east-facing Golden Mile Bench provides fresh floral, apple, and pear flavours and the west facing Black Sage vineyard (with rare limestone soil) adds a mineral backbone and a spicy lemon finish. Overall the combination of minerality and orchard fruit is unique and delicious. This is no wimpy Gris it displays good mouth feel and a long finish ideal with salmon, salads, seafood and pasta with cream sauce. 88 points.
